Limburg - The Netherlands

The province in the south of the Netherlands which borders with Germany and Belgium is very different than the rest of the country. The landscape is hilly, people are catholic and speak a very different accent. The influence of the German and French culture was always strong in this region. Capital of Limburg is Maastricht, a relaxed but very cosmopolitan and beautiful town at the banks of the river Meuse.
