Types of Pine Trees
Huangshan pines on Mt. Huangshan, Anhui, China. Their seeds fall into rock crevices where they take root. The pines grow very slowly due to the poor soil and climatic conditions. A tree less than 3m (9.84ft) high may have grown for over one hundred years or even several hundred years.
