David Claerbout, Sunrise, Parasol Unit 2012. The silent and barely seen cleaner breaks for a cigarette. Breaking both literally and metaphorically since the Ozu style box-framed modernity is here shown diagonally. The light from her cigarette is a foreshadow of the sun to come.

Jeppe Hein's Invisible Labyrinth, Invisible: Art of the Unseen, Hayward, 2012. I also wonder if one of these is Bethan Huws actor, paid to blend in to the spectators. Belief and its willing aquisition, was very much a theme in the show.
