sky lights This is exactly what I want to do in our house. Sky lights and dark floor with rug. Not sure about the wall paper, but we already have an accent wall.
Bedroom palette: paint most of the walls the cream color at the end and paint an accent wall with the smoky purple color. Bed covering in the very soft, pale purple-gray and use the muted grey toned green for accent colors like throw pillows, vases, etc.
Every family member gets a basket with their clean folded laundry that can be taken to their room and put away. -Could also use for each member's dirty laundry & put clean, folded laundry back in when finished.
SLIDING BARN DOORS---more traditional style. this is happening. I don't know when or in what house but I am making this happen.

Looking for living room complements to a brown leather couch. I've seen some pics with grays and blues and yellows with brown leather.
This color scheme is very lovely, and I love the sofa. If we end up with a smaller living / family room that can't quite hold a u-shaped sectional, this would be perfect!
