Deconstructed chicken pie with steamed veg #glutenfreeadventures I miss really short pastry but rice flour pastry is even better! Crumbly, flaky, it's better than any wheat based pastry I've ever made or eaten. Sliced thin slices off the ball of dough and "baked" it in the frying pan. Takes about 5 mins. Recipe: 200g rice flour Pinch salt 100g butter 6/8 tbs cold water 1/2 tsp xanthum gum (used ground linseeds as I don't have this) Make as normal pastry. Bake. Bliss!
