My mom used to make Pannenkoeken (Dutch pancakes) for me every weekend when I was a child. I'd love to have them for breakfast during my Mother's Day trip to Holland. Perhaps wearing my baby on my back for this meal would keep her safe from the syrup!

Pannenkoeken (literally translates to pancakes) are Dutch pancakes. They are very similar to French crepes, but they are thicker and sturdier and usually served rolled up, with just a sprinkling of sugar.
