ARTIST a little bit of just because TITLE 'Terrain' - Felt Textile Art my favourite so far. The felt is layered up to create depth and then finished with beads, sequins and stitching. The orange felt was hand dyed to get the right colour - amazingly with all of the colours of felt available these days I could not find the orange I was after, so some pink felt and some textile dyes and the right colour was made. ARTIST a little bit of just because TITLE Dream Fragments Closeup 3 Each paisley was individually beaded/sequined and then stitched to the blue backing. The blue was then quilted to the cream (bit hard to see in these photos, but the quilting makes each of the paisleys pop up from the background). The circles around the outside were then stitched directly onto the background and then beaded. The entire piece is backed with felt and 'signed' in stitching on the back. Diy Bordados, Paisley
