Oster cupcakes

I really wanted to do a lamb cake, but couldn't quite figure out the construction of it, so chose a bunny cake instead and a fairly easy one at that. The cake is a ginger cake with lemon buttercream. The carrots I made ahead with stiff royal icing, so only the ears, feet and eggs are fondant. The sign says 'happy easter'. Hope you like it :-)

Easter is right around the corner and there are so many fun treats that I want to try! I know I've said it before, but I LOVE decorating cupcakes. It's so much fun to take a plain old cupcake and turn it into something magical, and let me say, Easter themes have to be the cutest! Bunnies and chicks and carrots and sheep, what's not to love?!
