Whitney Marie on Instagram: "Arctic landscapes inspired by Ted Harrison ✨⁣ ⁣ We’ve been busy since we’ve been back learning in the classroom again. After many explorations about winter, we decided to wonder about the coldest places on earth. We discovered that these regions were polar and so began our Polar Inquiry! 🐻‍❄️ 🐧 ❄️ ⁣ ⁣ We were inspired by the bright colours of Canadian artist, Ted Harrison who painted beautiful Arctic landscapes. After some learning about cool and warm colours, we produced these gorgeous pieces.⁣ ⁣ Our paintings are as unique as the artists who created them but also include a few common elements: a cool coloured snowy ground, a warm coloured sunrise or sunset sky and an outline.
