Beautiful cycling path was inspired by Vincent van Gogh’s classic painting “The Starry Night”. Constructed by Heijmans in Eindhoven, Netherlands. Made out of thousands of solar powered sparkling lights / stones. The latest outdoor installation by American artist Phillip K. Smith III is a gorgeous line of mirrored poles stretching a quarter mile down Laguna Beach. The mirrored sculpture reflects the natural beauty of changing tides. "250 stainless steel posts, polished to a mirrored sheen, were spaced evenly in a gentle arc along the coastline. A beautiful image that kind of represents what I was seeing during my PTSD symptoms. I frequently was experiencing flashes of light, then embraced (and eventually painted) the possibility that a soul under duress might actually be seeing glimpses of divine light.
