Rose-ringed Parakeets - Halsbandparkieten
Merel (female blackbird) enjoying some wintertime berries.
Ring-necked (or Rose-ringed) Parakeet -- These are actually native to Africa and southern Asia, but there are feral populations living all over Europe. There's a population of about 10,000 of these parakeets in Amsterdam. One of these handsome fellows managed to find his way to my bird feeder in March of 2014, which was a beautiful springtime surprise. Common buzzard - Wikipedia
Common Buzzard (Buteo buteo) Three fledglings grew up in my backyard forest, spending a month learning to fly, then taking hunting excursions. One day, they disappeared, and all the other birds returned to the forest with great relief.
