I would buy Butcher Paper at the grocery store, roll it out and give my boy's water color paints, crayons and stamps to get creative on rainy days. Still have those masterpieces. Loads of fun. But this is a good idea too LEAF RUBBING /amy/ nelson-s

coffee filter snail suncatcher craft for kids: Use markers to color coffee filters then spray water on the coffee filters & watching the colors run. Cut out body of snail and attach coffee filter, then add eyes, antenna and other decorations.
Using forks for printing. Would make such a cute project for Kdg. I could see them making some very funny porcupines! Fork stamp would be good for hay stacks or a dog. Can use fork for upper grades and manipulate so just 2 prongs were printed and etc.
