Tone and negative space can liven up a fashion illustration figure if you know where to place these two elements overall.

particular here, the pinstripes. Also note how the darker shadow of the leg and arm farthest away helps the eye see it farther back. Tone and negative space can liven up a fashion figure if you know where to place these two elements overall.

Agata Wierzbicka. Polish illustrator. Week 4 Eduardo. Coloured Pencil. Very delicate line work, as well as the pastel colours, creates a very soft aesthetic. The colour that shows from the background creates a very open illustration and combined with outlines left out allows the eye to fill in the image.

WHO: Agata Wierzbicka WHAT: Fashion illustration WHY: I like the colours and contrast of negative space. I like the lines which creates and focal point and the illusion that the photo keeps on going.
