1949 Ad for Bird Linoleum

This ad appeared in Ladies Home Journal. Bird had been in business since 1888, but didn't advertise as widely or in color like Congoleum, Nairn, or Armstrong. I scanned this because I liked the pattern which reminds me of 30s and 40s Homer Laughlin stencils and I'm a sucker for chartreuse. The typography is also cool ... makes me think of Letraset's "Fling".
