The Wolf and the Seven Little Kids is a fairy tale told across the world. The mother goat tells her "kids" to not open the door for the wolf. She says "The wretch often disguises himself, but you will know him at once by his rough voice and his black feet.” The wolf is deemed magickal because he tries to decieve the kids by first changing his voice by eating chalk to soften his voice. Then he whitens his feet with powder to look like hooves.
