A series of print ads for Dutch Book Week by Van Wanten Etcetera. This years theme was the “autobiography”, so portraits of Anne Frank, Vincent van Gogh, Louis van Gaal and Kader Abdollah were created from books as centerpieces for the ad campaign.
Lorenzo Quinn's Vroom Vroom sculpture in Park Lane in London. The four-metre high sculpture consists of a vintage Fiat the first car that the sculptor ever bought, grasped by an oversized aluminum child's hand modeled from Quinn's son.
Also made in the was the Diamond Chair, a product of experimental genius by designer Harry Bertoia who welded metal and played with different shapes and forms. He decided to make practical art and the Diamond Chair was born.
