Icebreaker: The Great Candy Pass - Women's Ministry Toolbox
In need of a quick icebreaker to get your group warmed up? The Great Candy Pass is one of my most popular icebreaker games. Its quick and easy to pull together. Just grab a bag of mints, print the questions, and you are ready to go! The Great Candy Pass
Or name in order, like we've done with books of the Bible. Could do abc's or counting for younger kids; color spectrum; quick categories like color spectrum, order of operations, etc. or a person could name a state or country, and the next person has to name the capital, the next names a country, and continuing to alternate that way.
Back to School Name Tents
These back to school name tents are perfect for learning students' names and getting to know them during the first days of school. This is part of my back to school pack, which includes 24 activities to use on the first day of school!! The first week of school is a time for everyone to get to know each other and to get to know the classroom environment, rules, routines, procedures, etc. So many ideas to use with your students. Perfect for upper elementary classrooms.
Back-to-School Bus Craftivity Flap Book
Back-to-School Bus Craftivity Flap Book is a fun craft to do during the first couple days of school. Students tell about themselves, their reactions to their first day of school, what makes a good classmate, and class rules. Students fill out each section, staple them together and color the bus. It makes a great beginning of the year bulletin board. #backtoschool
FREE Editable Back to School Parent Handbook Flipbook
EDITABLE & FREE * Parent collaboration and involvement is such a key element in a successful classroom. Knowing that I really wanted to get my parents involved this year, I needed something for Open House / Back to School Night that the parents could take home and have information at their fingertips. I filled out the information, printed, and assembled! To add another touch, I put sticky magnets on the back so parents can hang it on their fridge and actually use it!
