When I first starting practicing yoga, I felt like blocks were a giant pain  snoozefest. I felt like they didn't really do anything, and in class, the  effort to benefit ratio was awful cuz it seemed like I'd spend half the  time just trying to get the positioning just right only to lay back and  feel like the block was stabbing me.

YOGA TIPS FOR TOE TAPS & LSIT: This is not so much a sequence but more conditioning drills that will help your feet if the floor. The main thing is to first have open hamstrings. If a deep forward is not yet available to you, I suggest working on that first otherwise you will simply not have the accessibility in the body to toe tap or Lsit.
