Bocksten full reconstruction of garment found in Bocksten (Sweden). Surviving pieces are woolen hose, tunic, cloak and hood. On the left side is shown hood, the best preserved part of excavation. It was well tailored. The red V shaped cloth still remain questionable. Dress is entirely hand sewn. (half of 14th century)

Bocksten Bog Man 14c Sweden. He was probably blond (acids in bogs turn blond hair red). He was probably murdered. He was secured to the ground with three wooden poles driven through his torso. At least one of them was taken from the roof of a building. He was 171 cm (5'7''). He was probably nobility. The femurs show signs of a lot of horseback riding. He was of slender build & his muscles seem relatively small. He had signs of a rheumatic disease which afflicts people with a sedentary…
