Sorø Man         Two skeletons were found in a bog near Sorø on Sealand, Denmark in 1942. Both skulls had holes in the skulls, a sign of surgery or someting else?    On the picture you can see one of the skulls, it has a hole in the middle with a diameter of 1.5 centimetres. Next to the hole is a depression, perhaps he got hit on the head with an axe? Maybe they tried to remove a blood clot or maybe it had a more ritual meaning. Here there are also some signs that the wound was healing.
