#100daysofbotanicalcollages

During 100 days I'll be exploring techniques to capture the plants and flowers that are in bloom in my garden right now. I’ll arrange them into collages and photograph or reproduce them as analog prints. On sunny days they will be cyanotype and sun prints. The chemical process in which the fluid reacts with the sun is just magical. I’ll be sharing tutorials during the project so you can try it out for yourself.

When running in the #twiske I always look for beautiful #plant #silhouettes. A week ago I picked (sorry) and dried these ones: #rapeseed, #buttercup and #butterbur with its giant #leaves (didn't pick those). Day 19 of my #100daysofbotanicalcollages

Zoom in on the poppy, can you see the hairy stem? I framed these tiny lovelies and hung it up in my #studio. #driedflowers for day 17 of my #100daysofbotanicalcollages

It's probably too romantic for most people's taste, but I love these pink and yellow gradients in #driedroses on a grey paper. Made on day 16 of my #100daysofbotanicalcollages

Experiment: drying the #flowercollage as a whole instead of each flower separately. And it worked out fine. Made with #botanicals found in and around my #garden on day 15 of my #100daysofbotanicalcollages
