After the Subversio album, this is the second release on Dubbhism Deluxe bringing together the sounds of Jacky Ligon (Xen-Arts), Sevish (Split-notes) and Tony Dubshot (Dubbhism). This EP is about a tuning, known as 23 EDO. We call this style Xenharmonic Bass Music.

Soul, more soul, 8-bit soul... Helgeland 8-bit Squad return to Dubbhism Deluxe, with an original release this time, and they bring UK Soul Queen Sarah Winton (Nightmares on Wax) and Dubbhism veteran I-lodica to nice things up. An epic piece of work, Swimming Bird is as good as it gets if you're into 8-bit Northern Soul. Remixes by the enigmatic Phattyman from The Hague (NL) and Tony Dubshot.

Marlon Asher the Ganja Farmer returns to Dubbhism Deluxe and this time he brings Stef Kalloo, the lovely, sexy singer and dancer from Port of Spain. Beautiful Day was originally a classic one drop tune, doing very well in Jamaica, getting lots of airplay. But Stef felt Beautiful Day could reach a wider audience, and so she contacted Dubbhism Deluxe. When we heard the tune, we sent for the specialists.

Inky Jack's Under the Ground is a classic NYC multiple-personality underground tune, building on the strains of bands and artists rooted here: Bad Brains, Urban Blight, Mad Lion, the Ruff Entry crew ~ 311 wishes they could put together dancehall, electronics, hooks and riffs as well as this..." Dave Sharma (Sub Swara/Escort/Falu...)

Warning! This is xenharmonic music. An unusual sound, xenharmonic or micro-tonal music is about inventing fresh new harmonies using strange combinations of frequencies. Stuff that most 'regular' musical instruments can't handle. That's why this album was created using a very special synthesizer. It's called FMTS, and it was developed by Jacky Ligon (who's also one of the artists).

2011 is going to be a big year for Leah Rosier and this EP is just the beginning. Right now top producers from all over the planet (New York, Bogota, Zagreb, Leiden) are working on remixes for one of Leah's biggest tunes to date. The single, featuring a reggae top celebrity on guest vocals, will be released as soon as the temperature has risen to a summer kinda level in Amsterdam.

This is for the heddz. An album's worth of Xen Dubbhism, as in xenharmonic. Weird harmonies transmitted live & direct from far away dub galaxies and picked up at the ISM studios using the latest in sphere technology.
