the Nostromo: This space mining cargo ship from Alien was dark and creepy and the perfect location for the title creature to creep around in. A true "haunted house" in space.
the Fantasticar: Sure, it looks like a floating bathtub, but I always thought the Fantastic Four's main mode of transportation was really cool.
USS Defiant NX-74205: On Star Trek: Deep Space 9, this tough little Federation warship equipped with a Romulan cloaking device got it's crew out of a number of scrapes.

John Gaunt AKA GrimJack is the creation of John Ostrander and Timothy Truman. This fusion of hard boiled noir detective and sword wielding barbarian usually gives his enemies a choice... They usually choose to die!

Ass Kicking Fictional Characters

An American Werewolf in London (1981): This horror/comedy directed by John Landis does an amazing job of being genuinely funny and truly scary without feeling schizophrenic. It also features, in my opinion, the best practical human to werewolf transformation scene in modern cinema.
Behind the Mask: the Rise of Leslie Vernon (2006): This is a fantastic deconstructionist horror flick directed by Scott Glosserman about a documentary crew who decides to follow a psycho slasher around during his reign of terror.
Dawn of the Dead (1978): George A. Romero wrote and directed this sequel to his popular Night of the Living Dead, in which survivors of the zombie apocalypse are trapped in a shopping mall.

As played by William Zabka in the 1984 flick, the Karate Kid, Johnny Lawrence is the ultimate entitled rich douchebag.
Doctor Victor Von Doom is my favorite evil character in the Marvel Comics Universe. A master of science and sorcery, Doom's three goals are to rescue his gypsy mother's soul from Hell, to prove his intellectual superiority to his hated rival Reed Richards, and to take over the entire world!
In the film Die Hard, the villain Hans Gruber (as portrayed by British actor Alan Rickman) was so cool I almost liked him better than the hero, John McClane.
