Could also be used in a spelling center.Lego-out the words. Lego learning games - exploring Lego and play dough. This is a great activity for sensory play, imaginative play, letter recognition and sight words.
For class word wall: A couple white sheets, a note sent home instructing mom to dress the kids in colorful clothes, and a ladder (and a photographer who is not afraid of heights! So fun! You could also do shapes.or spell out the name of the school!
Magnetic number fishing, they add what they catch! As well as addition, develops hand/eye coordination, fine motor--I love this for magnetic letter fishing too! When they catch a letter, they say its name and sound.
Adaptable to move with children's learning. Name fishing! for toddlers to learn how to spell their name--could do with numbers, alphabet, or any combo that could be put in order.would be great to practice sight words as well.
