House Plan CH310
This is my current favorite. 1787 Sq ft. Great house! Efficient use of space (no hallways=no wasted space) great passive solar design with large low windows to catch winter sun and eaves to block hot summer sun. I would extend eves over the side with the main entry and create a covered porch, wood stove instead of FP. Add garage with entry through utility/laundry. Check out version 2 with carport.

While this is actually an indoor space, it brings the outdoors in. By creating a greenhouse addition to the home, you allow for the natural cleansing of the air circulating within the home. It also acts as a passive solar area if floored with a heat-retaining tile. Many advantages to such design.
