Art Nouveau - Fashion

On this board we highlight fashion designs related to the famous art movement Art Nouveau (c.1890-c.1910). Reflecting the dress reform movement designers developed and produced women's fashion with less restrictive and lighter designs. After 1900, a new corset style created an S-shape silhouette. Soft gauzy fabrics and sinuous lines, in modern shades, were worn. Sportswear, beach clothes and cycling costumes began to appear on the market.
