Great way to reinforce time

Teaching kids to tell time on a NON-digital clock! I am surprised by the high school millennial kids who need this!

make a clock on your white board using a hula hoop

FIRST GRADE - Telling Time- stick a hula hoop to the white board, and write numbers around the inside of the circle to make a "clock". You can make little notches around the inside of the hula hoop to practice telling time to the exact time.

The children's hands on this clock are a good visual reminder that the sections are in five minute increments.

How fun!  "Watches" made from toilet paper tubes.  These would be great for practicing telling time--maybe a matching game?

Great stART: Piep Piep Piep or making watches with toddlers

Have 5 minutes of time to fill and need a super quick and easy craft. Why not make some Toilet Paper Roll watches with the kids. then set the time for Sunday School!
