Printed silk day dress, late 1920s. Made from pale green silk crepe de chine printed with plaid lines and flowers, the sleeveless torso is straight to the hipline, where it breaks to overlapping rows of bias-cut ruffles. The large cape collar (tying in front) forms faux sleeves.
