Another set to show the "Rundell" tiara by Garrard. It was a wedding gift from Prince of Wales (future King Edward VII) to Princess Alexandra of Denmark in 1863. With stylized trefoils and lovers’ knots, the tiara is designed to be flexible; the elements break down to brooches and the base can be worn with just the scrolls or with diamond stars attached. The tiara was also part of a parure. It has not been seen in many decades, however the rest of the parure is still worn.
