Brian Wilson of the Beach Boys produces his masterwork, Pet Sounds (1966), Gold Star Studios, Los Angeles. Most of the tracks were recorded in early 1966 at Western Studio 3, also in Los Angeles. At Gold Star the Beach Boys recorded "Wouldn't It Be Nice," "I Just Wasn't Made for These Times," and "Good Vibrations," which was the follow-up single to the album.
