As a southerner, Brunswick Stew is a basic...this recipe is courtesy of Southern Soul Barbeque, St. Simons Island, Georgia. You can use your own combination of meats...traditionally squirrel and rabbit is used, but I prefer chicken and maybe some beef. Totally your preference in what you use...but a true "southern heart" is what you must have.
Quick Brunswick Stew - ready in 20 minutes! Pulled pork, chicken, lima beans, corn, chicken broth, BBQ sauce, tomato sauce - throw in the pot, bring to a boil and simmer for a few minutes. SO delicious! We made this two weeks in a row. We couldn't get enough of it! YUM! Can freeze for later.
