Carolyn Jones (1930 --1983) A graduate of Pasadena Playhouse, Jones' first film was 'The Turning Point' in 1952, followed by 'House of Wax' in 53. Success in 'The Invasion of the Body Snatchers' came in 1956. Next she made 'The Bachelor Party;' she cut and dyed her hair black [became her signature color]. For this role she received an Oscar nomination, 1957. In '58 she played opposite Elvis Presley in 'King Creole,' [considered by many to be his best film]. Morticia Addams came in 1964.
