Make a Goo Gone alternative that works just as well with-out the chemicals and smells. Mix two parts vegetable oil, any kind, with one part baking soda. The oil loosens the gluey muck while the baking soda gently abrades the glue and then you can wipe it away. Clean with soapy water and a hot water rinse. Viola!
