Amelia was the final child of George III and Queen Charlotte and born on 7th August 1783 at the Royal Lodge in grounds of Windsor Castle. Christened on 17th September at St. James' Palace with her brother, George, Prince of Wales, and her sisters, Charlotte, Princess Royal and Princess Augusta Sophia as godparents.
