Create a headboard picture frame by using decorative molding from a home improvement store. Screw the molding to a fabric-covered wood panel sized to fit the bed. Or adapt a prefabricated picture frame by screwing it to a fabric-covered plywood panel. Match the frame and the fabric to the bed linens. (Photo: Photo: Thomas J. Our master bedroom, I got the idea from a pottery barn catalog for the headboard, we used an old barn door, cost 30 bucks for the door plus the lacker to seal it, and it was about 300 at pottery barn! Then we did a collage of vintage mirrors and vintage along with some newer picture frames and just painted them all shades of white!
