6.45 lb. Made it in the crockpot. High for 1.5 hours, low for 6 hours. Put broth in the bottom then set the butt on 2 balls of foil, fat side up. It was amazing. I would try it in the oven next time for the crispy edges.
When baking potatoes there are things that I like. 1 Big baking potatoes. 2 Clean under cold running water. 3 Spread oil on the outside. 4 Sprinkle with salt. 5 inject the cooked potatoes (using an bbq injection syringe) with a mixture of melted butter and a little beer. 6 Serve them with your favorite toppings>more butter, crispy bacon, cheese, sour cream, pulled pork, smoked brisket, planked brie or whatever you like
