"drylock is a masonry paint that you can get at pretty much any home improvement store. If I can remember correctly it's latex paint that has a fine ground sand mixed into it. It can be tinted, but I liked the light grey color that mine was. I bought some locktight caulk type glue. It's way think and kinda hard to spread out, but it holds pretty well. Then I sand down the sides and fill in the cracks with wood filler. Sand that down after it's dry and then do 2 light coats of drylock.
