We foster on a fairly regular basis which means accidents can and will happen. I've tried a lot of commercial products and homemade remedies in the past to remove the stains and odors which either weren't pet safe or they just didn't completely remove the odor. I don't remember where I came across this concoction but I've been using it for quite a while now because it works!
Ingredients: 1 tbsp dish soap (regular Dawn) 1 tbsp white vinegar 2 cups hot water Baking soda Instructions: Sprinkle baking soda on the stain and wait 10 minutes. Then vacuum it up. Mix the dish soap, vinegar, and water together. With a clean cloth, start dabbing the stain remover on the stain. Keep blotting until it's completely gone.
