1 part rubbing alcohol, 3 parts water in a freezer bag = perfect ice packs that don't harden in the freezer.

2 cups water    1 cup rubbing alcohol    Liquid food coloring    Resealable bags   Mix 2-1; 2 parts water to 1 part rubbing alcohol. The rubbing alcohol does not allow the water to freeze.   Add a few drops of food coloring and stir   Pour liquid into a resealable bag and seal. Then place in another bag & seal

It gets really cold, but never hardens so you can manipulate it.  Every athlete (or mom) should know this!  Tip from physical therapy that really works!  <3
