Over happy hour, my dad's friend asked me how many friends I have. I replied several good ones and then the rest are circumstantial friends. He said, "Good. I only have 3; 4 maybe, but all you need is two. They don't judge what I say or do. They will tell me when I'm wrong, but they still let me be me. You need friends who you can fall back on; people who are like family. They are there when you need them; and they are still there even when you don't. That's it! Life is simple."
