Another pinner said...Wash outdoor windows with Woolite. I have been doing this for years and found a blog with photos. I use 1/2 cup to 1 gallon warm water, but other than that I do the same as this blogger using a soft car washing brush on an extension handle. Makes outdoor window cleaning easy.
Streak Free Window Cleaner 1/2 gallon warm water 1 Tablespoon liquid ‘Jet Dry’ 2-3 Tablespoons laundry detergent (liquid dissolves easier) or dish washing soap Mix all ingredients above. Spray windows down with your hose. Wipe or brush onto windows, then immediately hose off your window. That’s it! You are now done. The remaining water will sheet off. No towel drying is needed.
My neighbor's house always had the clearest windows EVER! One day I helped her with some spring-cleaning. She didn't use a single paper towel or commercial cleaner but mixed 2 cups hot water with ¼ cup vinegar & 1 TBS of cornstarch, shook in spray bottle & spritzed the windows, then wiped down w/ crumpled newspaper. Unlike paper or cloth towels, newspaper is absorbent without leaving lint behind. This homemade window wash solution w/ newspaper works like NOTHING else for PERFECTLY CLEAR…
