Regency Petticoat with Lace Hem - Regency petticoats were worn over your stays and before your dress. Many had decorated hems with lace and tucks, or ruffles, and as they progressed into the 'Extended Regency' period, were stuffed with horsehair or had a corded hem. They were made from either linen or cotton for every day use, fine wool fabrics such as flannel for the winter months, and silk for evening wear, if you could afford it!
