Recipe for homemade jewelry cleaner. Even though this said it can be used on silver, I did and I would not suggest it. White gold cleaned great, but silver pieces had some yellowish discoloration and removed some antiquing black on a ring. Jewelry cloths rubbed the discoloration gone. Still, be careful with silver and I wouldn't pearls either.

My ring cleaned and shined! Soak your white gold jewelry in warm water with a teaspoon of baking soda. Let soak for about 20 min and rinse with warm water. Use a soft toothbrush with a tiny bit of toothpaste to clean the hard to reach spots. Rinse again. Pat dry with wash cloth and use a polishing cloth to buff and shine. Sparkles like new!
