Covered or Painted Shoebox lids with hooks make for beautiful artwork.

Take a piece of wood, cover it w/ fabric, add hooks and you get a great jewelry hanger. Or you could add hooks to a picture frame and have a beautiful picture with jewelry.

"FAMILY" I like this! Random sized thin blocks of wood are covered with coordinating papers and then letters are applied. Ribbon loops are added for hanging. Hang blocks from a curtain rod. Simple and fun! But .... make extra letters and now you can swap out your words anytime! (Could this work with assorted shoe box lids, too?) Could do last name too!

Cheap Wall Art: Fabric Covered Shoe Box Lids --wow, right when I think there couldn't possibly be any more genius, cheap decorating ideas.

Could use painted canvases with Cricut letters... Would look great in place of a big wreath that won't fit in between the storm door and the main door.
