Ghost World (2001). It's a small and simple movie, but so relatable for me. I often feel lost and confused like Enid does.

Ghost World// i love the scene in Ghost World at the end when Enid is waiting for the bus. It would be perfect if there wasn't a flashing light in the apartment window in the scene

Costume Designer Mary Zophres, for the movie Ghost World. Love Enid's style. One of the highlights of this film, & the amazing soundtrack.

Thora Birch as Enid wears many nerd-chic outfits in Ghost World--externalizations of her idiosyncratic character--designed by Mary Zophres, default costumer of the Coen Bros. This outfit is a perverse play on innocence and experience, incorporating sexier motifs that match the porn shop she visits (leopard, fishnets), and markings of her innocence (Peter pan collar, furry crown) that show her youth. In the film, Enid struggles to adjust to an adult life of responsibility and consequences.
