Plastic bottle rocket...as a piggy bank! This would be perfect for learning about the space coast. We would need to paint the bottles white with acrylic paint ahead of time, then let them decorate them with permanent markers and paper. This way we could teach them how every rocket ship that goes into space takes a lot of money to fly, and they tell us when their ship is full of coins. When they do, we'll have a space party.

I made these with the summer camp kids and they were a blast! Note to self: do not let them put glitter in the water next time! (Or do and be prepared to be covered in glitter from head to toe)

Bottle Rockets - Engineering and Chemistry for the win!

Bottle Rockets - Simple and Fun Summer STEM

Bottle Rockets are a simple and fun summer STEM activity that explores chemistry, engineering and even some physics.

If the #Easter weekend brings rain, it doesn’t mean kids can’t go on an adventure. By following these simple steps they can even explore as far as outer space! Now, we can’t promise this homemade rocket ship – constructed entirely from household items – meets exact NASA specifications, or is durable enough to survive re-entry into the earth’s atmosphere, but we’re sure it will fire your kids’ imaginations. #EasterTogether

This air-powered rocket may be light, but it's no lightweight: it flies impressively far, fast, and high. Ours flew more than 50 feet — right onto the neighbor's roof! Place your launcher far from any obstacles, and never aim it at anyone unless you like court rooms : )

How to Build a Bottle Rocket : Kid's DIY: Flies fast, far and high! Would be fun for a rocket / too.

Physics & Chemistry:::In my class I would use this project to introduce and discuss new concepts with my students. Creation of Bottle Rockets can be used to discuss Aerodynamics in the classroom, and possibly get the students intrinsically motivated to learn about space travel.

logos of wine #logo #wine

here are different logos for different types of wine. These logos are all very different but all very smart and thought out. My favourite one is the one as i like the way the wine bottles fold over each other and i like how they are almost transparent.
