A magnificent and exceptionly rare Russian silver gilt and shaded champleve enamel tea caddy by Ivan Khlebnikov, Moscow, 1896-1908. The six, cylindrical lobed sides beautifully decorated in various alternating multi-color scrolling floral and foliate motifs against a matte gilt ground, the double-domed lid similarly worked with floral designs and paisley motifs between stylized pineapples. A Russian silver gilt and cloisonne enamel traveling inkwell, Gustav Klingert, Moscow, late 19th century. The sides and hinged lid worked in a multi-color scrolling foliate motif within borders of turquoise enamel beads. The gilt interior fitted with a spring-loaded cap an container for ink.
