DIY laundry stain remover (better than Shout!)

DIY laundry stain remover (better than Shout!) Another very effective and inexpensive stain remover… I tested this and it really works: chalk! If you have a fat stain on a cloth, you ‘overwrite’ it with a simple piece of chalk (like children use for drawing on chalkboard), then put the cloth in the machine. It’s magic!

Best Clothing Stain Removal

One tablespoon of classic Dawn liquid – the blue stuff One cup of hydrogen peroxide Dab onto stain with a clean cloth or sponge. Try it? According to WardrobeOxygen: This can remove red wine, blood, yellowed stains from sweat and deodorant, grass, even stains that have been laundered and are old. I have since used it on heavier duty fabrics with an old clean toothbrush, and have poured it directly on to stains to pretreat before washing.

DIY Laundry Stain Remover-Hydrogen Peroxide, Dawn Dishsoap and Baking Soda. 3 things everyone pretty much always has on hand. You do 2 parts peroxide and 1 part Dawn and baking soda. I mixed up a lot so I did 1 cup of peroxide and 1/2 cup of the Dawn and soda.
