Louisville, KY - Waverly Hills Sanatorium opened in 1910 as a hospital to accommodate 40 to 50 tuberculosis patients. The hospital closed in 1962. Waverly Hills has been popularized on paranormal television as being one of the "most haunted" hospitals in the eastern United States. Guided Tours and Private Investigations are available.

It is said that people that visited the old uninhabited hospital have heard doors slamming, a child crying and seen a woman with bleeding wrists. They have also seen a hearse appear in the back of the hospital dropping off coffins. Many have seen lights in the windows even when the power was turned off.
