DIY laundry stain remover (better than Shout!)    Another very effective and inexpensive stain remover… I tested this and it really works: chalk! If you have a fat stain on a cloth, you ‘overwrite’ it with a simple piece of chalk (like children use for drawing on chalkboard), then put the cloth in the machine. It’s magic!

1 cup dish washing liquid (I used Dawn the first time but I have since found out that any brand will work.) 2 cups hydrogen peroxide a spray bottle funnel (to lessen the mess pouring it into the bottle)

Homemade "Shout" Stain Pre-Treater    2/3 cups Dawn Dishwashing Liquid   2/3 cups ammonia  6 Tblsp baking soda  2 cups warm water    Mix everything together then use a funnel to pour into an old Shout bottle or other spray bottle.    To use: shake bottle then spray on stains as you normally would. I usually let mine "soak in" for a few minutes at least. Then launder as usual.
